Tales

Long associated with childhood, tales are in fact the first narratives that shape the imagination.
They speak a singular language — layered and open to multiple readings — capable of touching both the sensorial and the invisible.

For Lucila Viso, the tale is both a space for writing and for visual creation.
She writes her own stories, accompanied by paintings or drawings, allowing text and image to enter into dialogue within the same narrative.
The words do not describe the image, and the image does not illustrate the text: each opens a space of resonance for the other.

These narratives explore passages and metamorphoses.
They never offer a single meaning, but propose an open reading in which the reader’s intimate experience finds its place.
Within this universe, painting becomes a silent narrative, and writing an inner image.
